Welcome to the registration page for the Sustainable Works Student Sustainability Workshops at Santa Monica College.
Please be very careful when registering
, Check all your personal information and meeting time preferences before you click "submit". You will not be able to edit your information or register again.
All students must show up on time to their first meeting in order to be considered officially
registered in the program. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your first meeting, your space will be given away.
If you have questions, please email SGP@sustainableworks.org
SELECTING A WORKSHOP MEETING TIME
Sustainable Works offers 10 weekly workshop meeting times Monday and Tuesday.
You will be attending just
ONE workshop meeting at that same time and day every week
for the duration of the program, just like you would attend a class on campus (example: every week you will attend the meeting on
Wednesdays from 12:45pm-2:05pm).
: If space is available, you WILL be registered in your first preference, so choose wisely.
If your first preference is waitlisted, you may sign up on the waitlist, but waitlisted students are
guaranteed a spot, so we suggest selecting another meeting that is still open for your other preferences. If a workshop meeting
time you want is completely full, it will no longer show up as a preference selection. You may come crash a full
workshop on the first day, but priority will be given to registered and waitlisted students.
Again, please note that all students must show up on time to their first meeting in order to be considered officially registered in the program. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your first meeting, your space will be given away.
The following workshops are now full, including their waitlists:
Workshop #620, Tuesday 11:15 AM - 12:35 PM
Workshop #621, Tuesday 12:45 PM - 02:05 PM
SELECTING YOUR PROFESSORS
We are fortunate to have many professors at SMC who will award extra credit to students for completing our program.
Professors have the right to choose which of their courses they want to offer extra credit in, so please
be sure to ASK your professors whether you are eligible to receive extra credit. Do not assume that because
your professor's name appears, you are automatically eligible. If you believe your professor is offering extra
credit but you cannot find their name, please contact
If you are not receiving extra credit and are taking our workshop for your own knowledge, please check "No Extra Credit".
